Latest Projects

I recently finished 'BytheWay, Rick'.   The only reason it isn't here on Blogger is because of the profanity (it wasn't anything like my Sopranos fics) but Blogger is very persnickety when it comes to vulgarity.

Nonetheless, it is now available on Kindle and can enjoyed by everyone.    My next big projects are 'Death Takes a Holiday', which is a sort of 'Freaky Friday' swap comedy between the Grim Reaper and a punk who accidentally summons him.    The next story is called 'TLDR' which concerns a woman who has worked tirelessly on becoming a cinematographer only to have her work mocked and panned constantly until she writes a totally different script that makes the naysayers take her seriously.  It's also a love story.  Then, there's Elegant Lies, which will be an elaborate madcap dramedy.   I have an idea for a memoir (I've written so many memoirs already) when I am a little older entitled 'Right Where I'm Meant to Be', but I figure I'll do so later when I have more experiences to share with my audience.

I have been struggling quite a bit with enforcing my latest boundaries when it comes to my roommate.   It has been maddening to keep reiterating why I want to do this.  I am not the bad guy, but he is starting to conform more to what I want due to my comfort.   At some point and time, I will be moving away because it is seriously chipping away at my mental resolve and honestly, it is exhausting to be the hinge upon which everything turns.   I am not responsible for keeping the house kept, that is his prerogative.  I am only a tenant, and the house is still in awful condition.   The sooner I can find work, get my car running and find somewhere else to live (preferably not an apartment) the better because this has been going on seven years now and frankly, I'm done trying to get him to get his butt in gear and get the house in order.
