Six is a Crowd

Synopsis:   The Oracle advises the Hedgehogs to undertake a mission which could reveal answers about their future. Sonic, Manic and Sonia are thrown into a universe that almost seems to parallel their own, however in this dimension, they are not the in the resistance, the Hedgehogs are the rulers of Mobius and are greedy, spoiled and cruel (and in Sonic's counterpart's case, fat and foul-tempered but inflamed with passion for Amy). Confused by this world, they begin to explore and suddenly find themselves confronted by corrupted versions of themselves.     Chapter 1—Lunch with the Oracle             It was a blustery winter day as the siblings trudged their way through the deep, white, thick, snow.    All of them were well dressed for the winter weather and well-insulated.   Everything was going well until they bumped into a very aggravated snow giant.    They were in the giant’s territory, and he certainly didn’t take kindly to their trespass.   Undeterred, the tripl

Just Like Everybody Else

Synopsis:  A Princess Arete fanfiction taking place not long after the events of the film.  Do not read unless you have watched the resplendent film in all its entirety.      Chapter 1—Living in the Countryside                 In the tower, Arete had felt completely captive.    Yet, out here, in rural splendor, unencumbered by her royal duties, she had become truly free.   Her former enemy, Boax, could no longer enchant her or enact any runic pronouncements.     He was just as human as she was, and the old man cursed his ill fortune.                 ‘What good is a wizard without magic ?’, the old man lamented.    He had returned to his wizened self.    He could no longer place himself under a glamor to hide his age, and aches and pains had gotten the better of him.    Without his alchemy, age and gravity had won and his hubris gave way to humility.     He had to blame himself, for he had been in the wrong all the while.    His only friend, Grovel, had returned to his normal amp

Harmony or Something

Synopsis: Taking place during the final year of the Robotnik regime/  Manic ,  Sonic  and  Sonia  must end their training early when  Dr. Robotnik  threatens the  Oracle  and takes  a member of the resistance  hostage. During the rescue mission, the Hedgehogs fall into trouble and begin to place blame upon each other for everything that has gone awry.  Queen Aleena  and  King Jules  then intervene with an important message for their children that they must learn to work together and derive strength from their willingness to help others to ensure that the Oracle's prophecy is fulfilled.       Chapter 1—Drumming to His Own Beat               A previous run in with Sonic and his siblings had not boded well for Sleet and Dingo.    Robotnick had lost patience with them and was prepared to have his loyal Swatbots drag them, kicking and screaming, if necessary, to his roboticizer.                  ‘Wait !   Sir !’, Dingo began.             ‘What is it ?   Give me one mo

The Labor of Transcribing Written Word to Laptop

Kindle has proven to be a welcome respite and repository for my catharsis.   I have written a grand total of 16 stories/scripts for the website to date, not including the episodic Cryptid Chronicles yet, which are still being penned.   At work, I recieve my best ideas, given the fact that my work is repetitive and monotonous.   I always love engaging my mind with stories not yet told but are just begging to be put to paper.    As far as the studio is concerned, it is coming along slowly and surely.   There are simply a lot of moving parts and my brother has a pinched nerve (as well as aches and pains that make it harder, I guess I'll never understand that because I have none of those problems, even at 43).    However, I do look foward to revealing WeenieBeanie (my Gamer Name !) in due time.  Weenie wasn't the screen name or moniker I had wanted at first.  I wanted to be AzureMyst, but John, my faux bro, said, 'That sounds like some gay ass froo-froo cocktail', which ho

Current Projects

Last night my brother and I went to livestream our nightly Christmas Light gazing (or light peeping as many of the youngins call it).    We're thinking of putting it up on YouTube for all to see, and we may be doing more of this in the future.   As influencers, our viewership has gone up, and that's magnificent.   I recently got back to transcribing my work onto the computer.   If you head to my Kindle page, you'll see quite the offering of short stories available for purchase.  My latest one was The Heirloom Ornament, just in time for Christmas !    As soon as the studio is ready, I plan on recording music from A Very Gnarly, Nautical Christmas (I call it Gnarly for short, since it's easier).   Fusion, Zombie Rose, Man Alive and others will be recorded, too.   I recorded one song from Garden of Ethan that I haven't posted on YouTube, but it'll be available, soon. Parodies:   And BOY do I have a lot.  I just recently released my holiday parodies, which were a l

Prologue to Greatness

Synopsis:  An answer to the question of Ivo Robotnik’s past and the woman he loved.                     ‘Death is the wish of some, the relief of many, and the end of us all.’—Lucius Annas Senneca                 ‘Death often reveals its truest intentions.  Only after you’ve lost someone or something precious do you see a person’s truest nature.’—Elizabeth Berndt, 2016     Chapter 1—A Quiet Life                 Ivo Robotnik had always been a brilliant mind with a penchant for anything mechanical.   If something was broken, Ivo, with his engineering mindset and comprehension of mechanical inner workings to repair, replace and even renew something that had been otherwise ‘unfixable’.                   Ivo was always the apple of his parents' Gerald and Octavia’s eyes.   The two of them only wanted young Ivo to achieve greatness.   They were delighted when Ivo naturally chose the field of robotics, using that precocious genius mind of his to build and create.    All
