Read, Little Bookworm, Dreamy...

I am currently reading Stephen King's Different Seasons.   The book begins with Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, which I had never read before.   If you've seen the movie, it's actually consistent with the story itself.    I then started Apt Pupil, which I am savoring immensely.   The third story in the book is The Body, which was made into the film Stand By Me.   It'll be intriguing to see if the source material is accurate and genuine.   The final novella in the collection is The Breathing Method, which I had never heard of before.   I'm a massive King addict so I have read just about every book Mr. King has written.   My favorite of all time is of course The Shining, which ends differently but honestly, I adore the movie since it is one of my ultimate top horror movies of all time).   Doctor Sleep comes in a close second.    I also read The Tower books but it's sad to say that the movie (or the movies that were supposed to be produced) didn't quite make the mark.    They had such enormous potential, too.    I'm certain that Mr. King is happily making enough money to survive and thrive.

I also have some books that I was so graciously loaned by a good friend of mine, all local Greencastle authors.   As soon as I finish Aunt Jeannie's books, I'll be reading those.    These help feed my imagination and also spark my muse from time to time.
