Everything's Super in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, 2

Synopsis: The Star Warriors, Justice League and the Power Rangers Zeo reunite for an incredible adventure.

Chapter 1--Becoming Human

Alpha 5 was in a verdant garden, blooming with all varieties of flowers.   Trees and shrubs surrounded the area.  It was decorated with different statues, all of them depicting Gods and Goddesses, mainly to the earth and water.    In the middle of the hedge maze was Demeter looking abundant, giving and warm, a rose held in her supine hand.    When Alpha touched it, he felt strange.   Something akin to circulation began in his transitioning circuits.   His metal body was becoming flesh and the vegetation shrouded him, creating clothing.    The Goddess in the middle of the maze seemed to indicate the water in the fountain, and it called him.    He looked into its azure pools and saw himself.   He was a young boy, probably about 7-10 years old.

Alpha had short cut brunette hair and sparkling green eyes.   He wore a shirt with a lightning bolt emblazoned upon it, jeans and tomato colored Chucks.
‘I’m a boy !’, he thought, amazed and pinched himself just to make certain he wasn’t dreaming.   Sure enough, the stimuli caused him a small shock of pain.    With the new body he had, he could run around without getting exhausted but he found a human body required sleep.   Fortunately, he found a place to sleep in the gazebo just outside the maze.   He heard an angelic tone that sounded strangely familiar, luring him into part of the garden that had been secret before he had even arrived.    Hordes of butterflies swarmed against his body, tickling him immensely and lifted him to the stratosphere and beyond.   Then he awoke, welcomed by the visage of his beautiful wife, Delta 5.

Chapter 2--Prepping for a Festive Thanksgiving

The whole gang needed ingredients and food for Thanksgiving, which was fast approaching.   Their cupboards were practically bare.  Relatives were going to be coming soon, so everyone had to be prepared.    It was hectic but not in such a way that it’d be stressful.
The bots had done their studying on this unusual human custom and researched where the practice had come from.   It had done its share of evolving over the years but the message remained the same, family, food, fun and gratitude.
‘We should be thankful every day though.  We’re so fortunate, even us bots !’, Pasithea said, as she was hanging up a particularly festive Tom Turkey, bedecked with a darling pilgrim hat and collar.
Needless to say Zack's cabin was shaping up to be quite festive and HQ was as well once the buddies had finished putting the final touches on all the doors, windows and tables.
‘I hope you don’t mind me having a ‘family Thanksgiving’ here at my cabin.’, Zack stated.  He didn’t want the family finding out their secret identities.    The team felt it best for everyone involved.   They were a little sad about Zordon momentarily until Alpha reminded them the bots would be sharing the holiday with him and he wouldn’t miss out this time around.  Somehow though, Alpha had a feeling his dream was prophetic and wasn’t really sure of why.    Perhaps Somnibot would be able to explain it, he mused as he and his friends returned from the store with their bounty.

Chapter 3--Interrupting a Much Needed Rest
'Guys, we're back !', Beta said as he and the others walked in.  It was taco Tuesday and everyone had their pick of how their edible bowls would be filled.   There were fruit bowls accompanying the main meal and a smattering of ice cream for dessert.    While everyone was digging in and enjoying everything that had been prepared.
‘I had an odd reverie.’, Alpha began to tell his friends.  Immediately, Somni Bot’s attention was turned toward him.   He told his entire dream to Somni and she was baffled.
‘It’s very unusual and unique.  I’ll bet something out of the ordinary is going to happen.  They typically do with precognitive dreams.’, Somni explained astutely.   Alpha had never been known to be psychic but having been upgraded only recently, it could’ve been a talent he had acquired over time.
‘It seems a bit frightening in spots.’, Alpha admitted.
‘Don’t worry too much.   Dreams are typically that, dreams.  Either mini movies of the day's events, solving problems we were stumped on during our waking hours, or messages from heaven only knows where.   Some believe they can come from past lives.   I don’t know about that myself.   As far as prophecy, hmm, it’s very sketchy at best.’, Somni said, having her doubts.    It cleared Alpha’s head and with a satisfied exhale, he was ready to recuperate for the evening.

Alpha knew he wasn’t dreaming when he felt the tremors.   No, not one bit !   Zach’s cabin was shaking.   Alarmed, he and everyone else, wide awake even though their dreams had been pleasant, were shocked to see The Justice League, Time Force and the heroes of the Rebellion in an intergalactic war, but over what ?

Chapter 4--Old Foes, New Foes

Darth Maul, who had at one point, was considered being as good as dead, was with Darth Vader, standing with a gloating Kylo Ren, brooding in their latest machine to destroy everything, a Death Star Mech.   True it was inspired by their encounter with the Rangers but it had no kill switch.   It only had one objective; obliteration.   Its target, though, was undecided.
There was a planet one of the Storm Troopers spotted on his radar screen.   It had been labelled as Rebel territory.
‘Finally, we can corner those rats and exterminate them like the pests they are.’, Kylo seethed.   Why he was there with his once dead grandfather was a bit murky but he had tapped into the power of a holocron, turning back time.   In this universe, Grandpa Vader, as well as Maul were alive and well and it truly was a force to be reckoned with.

Time Rangers knew what they were dealing with.
‘Kylo has gone mad with power.   That holocron is causing the rift in spacetime as we know it.’, Trip said, getting nervous.   They had all known that Vader’s death was a fixed point.  There was nothing that could have altered it, except for the holocrons power.   Knowing that they wouldn’t be able to possibly face the Empire alone, they would have to rally the team.   They were dealing with more than any of them could handle but they had to stop innocents from being sacrificed so mercilessly.

Alpha 5 had yet another dream.   He was a boy yet again but this time he was being contacted via hologram through BB8.   Alpha 5 had yet another dream. He was a boy yet again but this time he was being contacted via hologram through BB8.

'What's happening, BB8 ?', Alpha asked.

The droid beeped a few times.

'Ai yi yi! What?!', Alpha exclaimed in pure shock.

He realized that BB8 was actually in holographic form, contacting him through his own subconscious.   Waking up, he alerted his friends and initiated Zordon’s help.
‘This is most grave indeed and time is definitely of the utmost importance.’, he said obviously.   In a flash, the Justice League and the Time Force Rangers were amongst them.
‘We need your help.  Not much time to explain.’, Trip stated as he beamed them aboard an already formed UberMech.
‘What is going on ?!’, Adam shrieked as he saw other Justice Leaguers fighting against tie fighters and X-wings.   A small planet in the background was the target, which happened to be a Rebel base and the Rebels were fighting back.   However, it seemed that time and space itself was beginning to unravel and all sorts of chaos was ensuing.

Chapter 5--An Old Friend Returns With New Powers

Snyde was back, fully restored to his original magical glory.   If anyone could assist, it was he.    He, Zordon, Zatanna, Constantine, Doctor Fate, all of them worked on rethreading the tear made by Kylo’s indescrectionary use of a Sith Holocron.   The Master of the Inbetween stormed from between the realms and bellowed.
‘Well, I suppose if I must do something, I guess I will.   I am only the Balance Keeper.’, the horned King said, his voice resonating throughout the cosmos.   None of them, save the Jedi had seen the Inbetweener before.   They witnessed the unusual spooky action of time being reversed and Kylo’s thoughts to sniffing out Rey, wherever she was.

The UberMech and the Leaguers were left baffled; stunned at what had happened.
‘I still don’t understand.’, Snyde said, scratching his head.   He had a scar from where one of the flying droids had nicked his handsome face.   It was a reminder of the fierce battle that had passed without so much as a word.
‘‘There is no need to understand.   The fracas never happened, the Holocron never existed.  You’re welcome.’, the Inbetweener said before departing through the tear in time.   Behind him, a vortex of rainbow colors, looking much like the rainbow bridge in an eddy, twinkled merrily.
‘Too weird.  My brain hurts too much to process all this.’, Adam complained, rubbing his temple.
‘Tell me about it.’, Billy said, for once agreeing that this time, he didn’t have all the answers.

Chapter 6--Prepping for Turkey Time

'Who's ready for a feast, you guys ?', Pepper asked excitedly.  The tables were packed with all sorts of different dishes, including the traditional turkey.   Synde was brought to tears of happiness due to not having a Thanksgiving meal since his childhood.   The meal itself was splendid and he almost didn’t want to leave his newfound friends.   Most of the guests had said their farewells and returned to their own dimensions.    Synde was the last to say goodbye and noticed his power shard had a sort of fuchsia glow.
‘I wonder what that could signify ?’, he mused.   He waved off the rising embers glowing in the shard as nothing more than the remnants of battle.   Little did he know it would lead to something more in the future.   For now, he was simply being happy as an ally to the Rangers and zipping into action whenever he was needed.

Epilogue

With Thanksgiving having come to a close, the leftovers were put away and everyone went to sleep for the night.   Alpha pondered what it would be like to be an honorary Ranger for a day.   It was a bit far fetched, he thought, but since Christmas was right around the corner, he knew what he was going to be writing to Santa to get for a present this year.

Somni wasn’t certain if anyone else knew of her exciting news.   She had longed to be a mother for quite some time and she and Beta were expecting twins of all things.   Pasithea and Morpheus already had a feeling their parents would be anticipating something big even though it wasn’t overtly obvious.    The two lovebirds cuddled together, Christmas tree glowing in its ever changing lights until the timer turned off for the evening.   This Christmas was definitely going to be one to go into the history books.
The End…

For Now :)
