Valentine's Surprise

Blooms of red and white
Such a supernatural sight
My cactus has awakened
Although its blooms are late
Still one might call them early
Perhaps an early spring is our fate ?
With the frigid rains drizzling
Not at this rate !
But I praise a sight this rare
Such bright beauty
In delicate flowers fair
Thank you for my Valentine
Although flowers fade
I'll cherish them far and wide
Knowing my memory will stay.
