The Nurse and the Rehabilitee

Synopsis:  Jay Holden is a quarterback that finds himself in a terrible car accident in which he breaks his leg and is laid up for 4 months, which nearly ends his career.   At first he is devastated because football was almost all he knew.  A pretty young nurse, Betty Fairchild, takes care of him, helping him with PT and her presence makes him feel light and heady.  He realizes it’s love and something more.  This woman could be his twin flame.

Chapter 1--College All Star

Jay had been playing for the Grey Wolves since he could remember.  He was the team’s star quarterback, lucky number 7, the golden boy who could do no wrong.   His heart was pure, he had no narcissism and everyone liked him.   He was gregarious and funny, loved to help at charitable events and found himself dabbling in DJing when he wasn’t on the field.   The field, however, was his livelihood and it earned him his bread and butter after college.   One day, though, everything changed, and not for the better.

Chapter 2--Tipping Point

Jay wasn’t one to drink, even in celebration.   Sure, he would have the occasional glass of wine on holidays but he liked to keep himself sober, particularly when driving.   One particularly rainy spring day, the droplets falling from above came at him so hard and fast it was hard to determine where he was going.
Jay was driving slowly but he could barely make out the Ford hurtling at him at ungodly speeds.   Swerving to avoid it, he careened into a pine and everything went black.   By the time he had awoken, his left leg was in a cast and there was ringing in his ears.   Looking at his left arm, an IV dripped morphine and fluids to control the pain.  He winced and saw doctors outside his window murmuring, shaking their heads pitifully.  He could barely hear them but he knew he caught the words,
‘Career’ and ‘finished’.   He wanted to scream at the top of his lungs.
Absolutely freaking not.   Football was his life.  It was all that he had ever known.  He had done other jobs but nothing had satisfy him or define him like football had.  Those cruel, loathsome words fell upon his ears and he felt as if the wind had been knocked out of him.   Angry at himself for what reason he wouldn’t understand and irate at God, he cried to the point of sobbing uncontrollably.

Chapter 3--Bitter Disappointment

Jay felt like bellowing but it would do him no good.  After sobbing for so long and falling into a depressed state, a willowy woman entered his room.   He didn’t even notice her, although her aura was pure gold.   Her fragrance reminded him of lilac bushes mixed with roses and a hint of jasmine.   He sniveled, feeling sorry for himself.  He read her name tag.   It was Elizabeth.   An elegant, ravishing name, reflecting the charming individual who had entered his room, her radiance uplifted him. It was irresistible.   He could feel the corners of his mouth being tugged to form a smile, all of his own volition.
Her beauty made his heart beat so rapidly in his chest he thought he was going to pass out, but even if he did die, he would be in the arms of an ethereal being.

Chapter 4--The Hands of an Angel

Elizabeth, or Betty as she preferred to be labelled, had healing hands.   Her touch was sensitive, gentle, but firm and meticulous.   She went to work with compassion, her eyes unflinching, full of agape.   Jay couldn’t help staring into her deep sky blue eyes.  They seemed to hypnotise him.   He found himself blushing.  He had never felt this way, especially toward a complete stranger.
‘I’m so sorry to hear what happened.   It’s so sad, really.   I’m going to help you regain use of that leg though.   Forget what you heard the doctors say.   They don’t know what they are talking about.’, Beth proclaimed boldly.   He liked her chutzpah.   She was determined, positive, dynamic and electifying.   She had a charisma and a presence that set his heart and loins ablaze.   He couldn’t help feeling aroused looking at her.  In every sense of the word, she was a 10 out of 10.
Day by day, Jay healed.   He could never be a quarterback for the Grey Wolves ever again but he could adapt to any situation.   At first he had felt bitter and questioned God as to why his career would be taken away from him at such an early age.   There were nights he’d cry on the field when no one else was looking but Beth caught him.   Jay tried to hide but she smiles, placing her hand on his shoulder.  It was all he needed for solace and reassurance.   By this time, it was 3 months into his physical therapy and he had fallen deeply in love with her.    They both knew that they have been dating without the establishment knowing of it.   The two of them hadn’t even had an official date but they felt like they were twin souls just realizing their bonds in this present life.

Chapter 5--First Official Date

Getting his ‘land legs’ back, Jay found it easier to get around and navigate.  His strength was improving.   Even though he would be leaving the intensive care unit in the next few days he wanted to take Beth out for a fancy dinner date.   He had plenty of ‘rainy day’ cash sitting around so he planned to spoil Beth silly.

After talking to Beth for a few months, he had learned she adored eating different types of food.   She had never eaten Turkish food and had always wanted to try kebabs.  Jay actually knew the owner of a Turkish restaurant and wanted the experience to be romantic for them.   The restaurant owner made the experience opulent for them, playing the best romantic music for them and incorporating their finest belly dancers to entertain them.   The service was extravagant.   Beth felt like a princess.  She had never been treated this way by a man before but Jay knew she was worth it.   Even though she was being spoiled rotten, he knew it wouldn’t taint her personality.  She was simply that pure and stunning of a human being.

After seeing a fantastic film together, Jay took Beth back home.
‘Can we still see each other after this ?’, Jay asked, nearly wanting to bite his tongue.  He had felt so klutzy and awkward around her he was afraid of losing her completely.   Thus far, everything had been extraordinary.   Boldly, he took her by the hand to the door, delighted that she had said ‘yes’ to a second date.
‘I would like to invite you in for a drink though.’, she said.  Jay brightened.  This evening was only improving with time.

Chapter 2--Unexpected Tenderness

Beth invited Jay inside for some wine, peanut butter fudge and other hors d'oeuvres.
‘I didn’t know you were so talented in the kitchen.’, Jay said, laughing.  Time had no meaning when he was with her.   He couldn’t help but feel his heart bounding in his chest when she sat next to him.   Her velveteen hair brushed against his skin as she rested her head against his chest.    She turned to look at the constellations through the window but their gaze mesmerized each other.   Boldly, he began kissing her and pulled her up onto his lap, beginning to rock back and forth against her.   His manhood felt hard and strong.   They began moaning and petting rather heavily, breathing hard.
‘I want you so bad.  Ever since I met you I’ve wanted to have you.’, Jay confessed.   Beth wasn’t afraid.  She hadn’t been with a man in months but she wanted to please him and be pleased by him.   Without saying much, the two undressed each other, admiring their naked forms.    In the low light, their skin seemed to glow.   Beth could see the outline of Jay’s strong penis, saluting her.
‘Are you sure you want this ?’, he asked, unable to stop looking at her curves.  His eyes never left her spellbinding eyes.   Beth kissed him, nibbling on his ear.   She was already moist.   Slowly she lowered herself onto his manhood and sighed dreamily.   His dick was thick with a mushroom head, so he penetrated her G-spot perfectly.   The feeling was unlike anything she had experienced in a long time.   Jay felt like he was in heaven with her as she rode his throbbing cock, slowly at first.    She began to moan.
‘Jay, I love you !’, she cried as she bit her lower lip in bliss.   Jay held her up by her tuchus, still working his pelvis rapidly.   Blowing a raspberry on her neck he spirited her away to the bed and laid her upon it.
‘And I you.’, he said, gently, kissing her navel and kissing down toward her vagina.   He licked and sucked, tasting her sweetness.
‘Jay...Oh...God…’, she crooned, rocking against him.  As he flicked and twisted his tongue, she climaxed and shuddered.    She only wanted more from him, which he was only too happy to provide.    Holding her leg up he penetrated her, his balls slapping against her ass.   He couldn’t help but exclaim in ecstasy as their bodies continued coming together in harmony.   After hours of incredible, hot, explosive love making, the two collapsed into each other’s arms.
‘That was cosmic.’, Jay stated, capturing his breath.    Beth laughed.
‘I concur !’, she chortled, merrily.   Jay couldn’t believe his luck.   She was by far the most caring, beautiful, selfless woman he had ever met.  Someone who loved with no boundaries with a heart of gold.    Beth wasn’t afraid anymore either.  She knew Jay would always be a knight to her and not run away.    The sex had been exceedingly supernatural between them.   In fact, their bodies were still tingling afterward but sleep eventually set in and they cuddled together, dreaming of their lives as official lovers, whether it was taboo or not.

Chapter 3--New Career Track

Jay adjusted to his new life as a coach easily.   He even mentored a young boy named Jaquan who had no real father figure in his life.   Jaquan nearly got recruited by a gang but Jay stopped it before it became headline news.   The young boy could stand up for himself and remembered how to analyse the situation.  If he had to, he could use self-defense but he had diffused the situation quite easily without even raising his voice or lifting a finger.    The young man ran to Jay and gave him an unexpected hug.  From the bleachers, Beth watched him, heavy with child.   She patted her belly, looking at him happily.   Their sex life had been fabulous, especially now that they had married.   Jay had been looking forward to a child of his own.  He didn’t care if the baby was male or female.   It wouldn’t diminish their love but yes, this baby, Jenna by name did transform their lives, and all for the better.

Chapter 4--Quick Nookie Everywhere

Every so often, Betty would beg and tease Jay, which he loved.  He adored her capricious ways and her flirtatious demeanor.   Betty purred at Jay, using a sultry voice, which really turned him on.   Seeing her in that lingerie was enough to stoke the fire of desire in his loins.   Hungrily, he started nibbling on her and kissing her whole body, slowly trailing down to her mons and to her inner thigh.   He kissed her vagina and clit, beginning to suck her slowly.   Beth felt her whole body go limp under his power.   Jay had a lot of power in his tongue being a trumpet player, so he knew what he was doing in tantalizing her.   He could feel her beginning to orgasm and when she finally did, she shivered.   On the countertop he unzipped his pants and slowly penetrated his beloved as Jenna slept.   The two were lost in each other, their bodies melding into one.    Beth grasped Jay and pinned him onto the floor.  Even though the floor was cold they warmed it up very quickly.   They climaxed in tandem and plotzed but Jay gathered Beth in his arms, letting her head fall on his chest.   Before long the two of them, wearing only their pristine smiles, were snuggled close together under their bedsheets.    Still, Jenna Marie slept peacefully, never stirring, not knowing that soon, very soon, she would have a lovely baby brother, Denver, come into the world.

Epilogue

Denver had been a particularly loud baby but he settled down when mom or pop got a chance to hold him close.  He adored his family and knew who they were instantly.   Jenna was older so she loved him immediately and couldn’t wait to dress him up in dolly clothing.   Denver would soon grow out of that phase and want to play with cars and trucks but Jenna was a tomboy, so they were equally matched.   She couldn’t wait until he could walk and talk but for the time being, she adored holding him, feeding him and comforting him when he cried.   She was a sensational, altruistic caregiver with a big heart.    All while this love was proliferating, Jay and Beth had a continuous flame that burned brighter day by day with each passing nanosecond.   Even holding hands gave them both a sense of unconditional fulfillment.   It was a fairytale if anyone had ever seen one.
