Dominique La Trek and Anne Bonny's Treasure

A/N:   It’s been a hot minute since I’ve written anything about my own anti-hero, Dominique.   I never really had a solid origin for her until now, which she so richly deserves.    Table of Contents Chapter 1—Dominique La Trek, Renaissance Woman Chapter 2—Club Twenty-Seven Chapter 3—Gunman With a Heart of Gold Chapter 4—Part of the Gang Epilogue     Chapter 1—Dominique La Trek, Renaissance Woman                 It was a particularly sunny Sunday when Dominique was born.   Her mother gave her away to the Romani camp nearby, who subsequently raised her and taught her everything she knew.    She had the gift of gab and an enchanting personality.    She could grift and haggle with the best of them, never backing down until she grabbed the best deals.    She learned swordsmanship from the Gypsy King, Dioval La Trek, who was the head of her camp and the only father she knew.    Her mother died young heading home that Sunday by failing to look both ways when she crosse

A Brit Trip With Freakazoid

A/N: A sequel to ‘A Lovely Shade of Blue’, we get to meet Basil Peters and his tremendous family.    Table of Contents Chapter 1—Meeting An Old Mate Chapter 2—The Grand Tour Chapter 3—High Tea with the Locals Chapter 4—More Historic Sites Chapter 5—Flying Home Epilogue     Chapter 1—Meeting An Old Mate                 Dexter and Stephanie were thrilled to be having their anniversary in England.    It wasn’t anything new perse, but Luke and Leia would be seeing Great Britain for the first time.    They would also be meeting Madame Blue, Britannica, and Squire for the first time.                    ‘Hey, dad !   How long has it been since you and mom were in Basil, I mean Lord Bravery’s neck of the woods ?’, Luke asked, inquisitively.    Dexter hearkened to old times.   It was always a treat for the Peters family, but he had never been there with their little ones in toe.                   ‘Most likely a few months at best, last I recall.’, Dexter said, grinni

So Long, Shoestring

After what seemed to be seven excruciating days, my intuition proved to be correct once again.  Troy, aka 'Anywhere Man' on TikTok, had come out with the shocking news that Mark Nichols (aka Hobo Shoestring) had been missing since March 26th.   It was reported that he had gone to the ER and exited quickly but supposedly, he was rather erratic, confused, and not at all himself.   After going home, he was then reported missing and all that had been found in his house were his phone, wallet, keys and kit.  Hobo had been without kit and other equipment before, but this was different because of his disorientation.  This was definitely out of character for Mark.   The moment I heard he was missing, a vision popped in my mind of the lake near his property.   Today, sadly, I find that my ESP was right on the money.   Although Troy didn't say whether the body found in the lake was Mark's, I think we can all conclude that it is him. He has/had been gone for 7 days.  2 days alone
