Honey Rose

Synopsis:   Rose Holland is a delightful tomboy who lives an uncomplicated life.   She adores simple things, especially the realm of her mind.   Her world is ripped asunder, however, when her parents are taken from her one fateful New Year’s Eve due to a terrible car wreck.   Through her parents’ will, she is foisted on her grandmother Rebecca.  Becky teaches Rose to be strong, resolute and feminine while teaching her survival basics.   Our young heroine Rose falls in love with the apiarist David, Becky has ‘The Talk’ with her, since her parents always circumvented the topic.

Chapter 1--The Night that Changed Everything

Rose Holland adored her parents.   They let her live a pretty free life, letting her do almost whatever she wanted within reason.   She was completely well-rounded, well-liked and sassy but not to the point of being disrespectful.   All in all, Rose was a beautiful flower.  One that was resilient but fragile.  She never knew how fragile until her parents were brutally taken from her.

Rose and her parents, Cecil and Delilah, were invited to a New Year’s eve party in the country, not knowing that a lot of people hadn’t paid attention to how many beers they had drunk.   On the way, Cecil and Delilah were blindsided by another car, careened off of it and smashed headlong into a tree.    The car was completely accordioned, no longer recognizable.

The accident had occurred so fast that Rose could feel her ears ringing after it had happened.   She found her face was caked with blood and she could barely open her right eye.   She had been banged up pretty badly and her left leg had been broken but not to the point she couldn’t walk on it.    She tried to get her parent’s attention, thinking that perhaps one of them could call 911 on their mobile phone.   Neither one of them moved.   Cecil had been stabbed through by a tree limb, straight through his windpipe.   Delilah had been literally crushed to death.  She was barely recognizable.   Rose was in such a state of shock that she crawled out of the passenger’s side of the car and hobbled away.   Numbly, she called 911 and the reality began to set in.   She was an orphan.   She was only 16 and most likely CPS would find an acceptable family for her to live with but it was too much for her to bear.   The only sounds coming out of her were wails, sobs, and angry growls.   It was like she had reverted to a primal state while roiling in grief.   Fortunately, her friends had called her maternal grandma, Becky, who immediately took her in.

Chapter 2--Love Comes Slowly

Rebecca was a woman who was tough as nails but tender when the situation required it.   She assuaged Rose’s fears and kept her calm, helping her combat PTSD and many sleepless nights without her mom and dad.    Rebecca had lost her husband only 5 years prior and losing her daughter had made things rough.   She was unafraid to shed tears but let Rose know that ‘weeping would pass and joy would come in the morning.’
Although Rose dealt with survivor’s guilt, she often found solace in nature and the passing of the seasons.    One day, she happened to come upon an apiary.   It belonged to the next door neighbor’s son, David.    Dave was the youngest apiarist she knew.   Honey making was the family business and he had grown into it, completely fascinated with bees and how harmonious their lives were.  He was naturally good with the insects, rarely if ever getting stung by them.  It was like he was a honey bee whisperer.

Rose caught the eye of Dave one day after school and girded herself with courage to speak to him.   From a distance she had always thought burly, ruddy curly haired David with the sharp brown eyes was quite handsome.   He looked somewhat like an eagle with his pointed nose and angular features.   He was quite the work of art, especially in his physique.

‘Hey, Rose !’, Dave said, beating her to the punch.
‘Hi !   You’re just the guy I wanted to see.’, Rose began, brimming with confidence.
‘Oh ?  And why is that ?’, Dave said, knowingly.  He had observed her bashful looks from a distance and was aware Rose was starting to have feelings for him.
‘I was just wondering if you wanted to go out for a burger, shake and fries with me sometime.’, she said, her smile glimmering in the sunlight.
‘I thought you’d never ask.’, Dave responded, shaking on it.   At least they were beginning as friends, as all exceptional relationships do.

Chapter 3--Use Caution

Rebecca had been rather perseverance in  educating Rose, especially in the birds and the bees.   Her parents had always avoided the subject but she had always been curious.
‘Grandma Becky !  I already know how sex works. Yes, I’m interested about it.  I have needs like any normal girl my age.’, Rose stated, rolling her eyes.
‘Yes, but you are naive.   It’s a very sacred experience.  A melding of souls as well as bodies.   If you can abstain from it, do, but if you want to come together, be mindful and use protection.’, Becky forewarned.   Even though she was only sixteen, Rose knew what she wanted but David was bound and determined to treat her like a woman and court her properly.  He was certain that Rose was his soulmate.   He never felt so calm, relaxed, serene or electrified when he was near her.    Her touch, her presence was pure magic on earth.    They had both vowed to abstain until the time was right.    For now, their friendship only deepened as academia took them on completely different pathways.

Chapter 4--Together in the Field
Although both lovers saw each other infrequently, they were separate.   They maintained a deep friendship and romance but had never been together intimately.   David could think of nothing but Rose and wanted to marry her after graduation.  He wanted to take the next big step and move in with her.   The apiary had helped him get through college and he was doing an exceptional business.    Rose had her remarkable talents of tech, communication and tailoring.  She often sewed costumes for commission, especially for cosplay and she herself participated in the hobby as many of her favorite characters.    David thought she only grew more beautiful and talented in time.   Strangely, he was afraid he’d lose her because he felt other men would snatch her away somehow.   She, however, only had her gaze fixed on David, and let him know he had nothing to fear, even though her male friends were horrible flirts.

Rose gobbled down some ice cream cake and feasted on supreme pizza, Pepsi and cheesy breadsticks.   David noticed she wasn’t being swamped by family members or her closest friends.
‘Now’s my moment.’, David thought.  He gathered his courage and knelt in front of Rose, holding the black velveteen box.
‘Rose Marie Holland.’, he began, tears brimming at his eyes.
‘Oh my goodness !’, Rose thought in the back of her mind.  She knew David would propose but never in a public setting.  It was audacious, bold, brave and incredibly romantic.  Before he could even ask her, she helped him up to his feet and locked her lips with his in a passionate kiss.
‘Yes, of course I will, you dummy.  I love you.’   In the back of her mind, she could hear their favorite song by Ed Sheeran, Perfect;
Dancing in the dark
With you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass
Listening to our favorite song
I have faith in what I see
And I know I’ve met an angel in person
She looks perfect
I don’t deserve this
Darling, you look perfect tonight

Chapter 5--Getting Frisky

It was controversial but the ‘kids in love’ decided to cohabitate even after their honeymoon.   They hadn’t consummated their marriage because they wanted to wait to have children after they graduated from college but horniness had other plans.
‘I made you breakfast.’, Rose said sultrily.   She was wearing a black negligee that accentuated her curves in all the right places.   Dave felt his penis stand long, strong and proud, hurting a bit as his erection grew bolder when she stood behind him.   She looked down at his boxers, noticing the bulge begging for her attention.
‘Happy to see me I take it ?’, she said.   Dave felt brazen.   He wanted to be gentle but his kisses on her neck were fiery.   He removed her clothing quickly.
‘Mmmm...I’ve been wanting this too.’, she said, ripping her bra and panties off.   The two didn’t even contemplate wearing a condom.    They jumped into bed and copulated, exclaiming at the top of their lungs.    His manhood rammed her womanhood so hard he was afraid she’d cry but instead she belted his name out in pleasure.   She grasped him tightly, wrapping her legs around him.  He took her legs and drew them up close to her body.
‘God, I love you.  You are stunning.  You drive me crazy.  Forgive me for being so rough.’, Dave apologized.   His movements were swift and tender though, even though he was thrusting his hips with all his might.   He could see he had penetrated her hymen and she was bleeding but she had no pain.  With every rapturous movement, she nibbled his shoulder, his nipple, his pecs and abs.   His movements were the most poetic ecstasy she had ever felt.
‘David, GOD !  Don’t stop !’, she beckoned as she climaxed for the umpteenth time.   His dick entered her hard and fast and he felt himself ejaculate.   He couldn’t stop in enough time to pull out.   He just hugged her tightly, knowing what had happened and that their lives would be inexorably changed forever.

Chapter 6--Rainbow after the Rain

Having a child had been challenging but David and Grace grew even closer, thanks to Faith.   She was shy and very feminine.   She loved ballet and violin.   She had the voice and features of an angel.   The two felt very blessed.   Then they were blessed again with a little boy they named Luke, after David’s father.   David’s father and he hadn’t always seen eye to eye on many views but Luke changed all that immediately.   The two had begun acting like father and son again and Luke bonded instantly with his big sister Faith and her grandparents.

Lovemaking had always remained hot for David and Grace.   They found themselves spontaneously doing it in places that normal people wouldn’t and quickly at that.   Not wanting anymore children, they wore protection and it always did the trick.   Once, the two went at it in an elevator at a hotel during the wee hours of the morning.   Needless to say, they almost got kicked out of that hotel for the rest of their lives.

Epilogue

Grace and David sat on the front porch, watching their toddler girls play.   They recalled when the two had been in diapers, being rocked to sleep.  Now the little twerps were into everything, but the duet couldn’t have wanted anything more.    As they watched their flowers bloom and blossom, they grew all the more beautiful and intelligent.   They were loved, nurtured and allowed to grow.    It wasn’t known as to what they would become but they would know what true love, compassion, kindness and true friendship were out of their parents’ examples.
