Synopsis:   An eros about a hardworking woman named Tessa finds herself on a fast track to success once her boss Larry falls for her.   

Chapter 1--Catching His Eye

From the moment Tessa Sellers had gotten the job at Maybe’s, she had always been dependable.   She woke up early in the morning and put her curly brunette hair into a french braid, styling it differently every time she got ready for the day.   She was a natural, peridot-eyed beauty that a myriad of people found attractive.  It was only recently that Larry Gelt was eyeing her from a distance.  

‘Psst.   Ron.  Come here.’ he said, to his best friend and Co-CEO of Maybe’s.  

‘Yeah.  Sup !’, Ron said, confidently with plenty of swagger as he sashayed over to the tall, dashing, clean-cut manager.   Ron was shorter but just as respected and he got plenty of credit for any ideas he had to better the store’s traffic levels.   There wasn’t any bias involved due to his background and he loved the fact that Larry was so laid-back and open minded.  

‘I was curious.  Do you know anything about Tess ?’, Larry questioned, leaning forward behind the counter, watching the customers file in and out of the store, browsing.  

‘She’s kind, courteous, warm, funny, intellectual, well-read and has a poodle named Babette.’, Ron stated, adjusting his glasses academically.  

‘Woah !  How do you know so much ?’, Larry questioned.

‘She’s super easy to talk to.   Very personable.   She can talk to anyone and her salesmanship is unlike any other.   I think she could sell steak to a vegan !’, Ron complimented.  

‘Hmm.  Perhaps it’s time for me to man up.  I have been watching her from the sidelines for a few weeks now.  It’s almost been a month.  She could have a boyfriend !’, Larry said, getting a bit neurotic.

‘She doesn’t.  Oddly she isn’t looking.  A catch like that.  Man, I would give anything just to see her smile day in and day out and knowing I was responsible for her happiness.  What a dream come true.’, Ron confessed, blushing redder than borscht.  

‘Don’t you even think of stealing her from me.   I don’t want to fight you for her.’, Larry said, feeling slightly possessive.   The tightness in his chest was a new sensation.  Slight envy was creeping up on him but he didn’t let this base sin get the better of him.   He was frank, straightforward and gentlemanly.   Ron realized he had almost crossed the line, knowing that Larry had set his sights on his target long ago.   He was a marksman, not flinching, never wavering.   Soon, he would hit the bullseye.  However, he had to garner the courage to talk to his brunette bombshell first.

Chapter 2--Tess’s Tresses

It was lunchtime and all the workers were eating outside.  It was a glorious June day after a much-needed summer monsoon.   There was a lilting breeze and a whiff of fertile loam in the air.   The farmers must have been getting ready to plant seed in the fields nearby.  

Tess’s wavy long brunette locks were wafting in the idle wind and Larry felt his heart flutter as he caught her emerald eyes.   Boldly, he sat down at a table under the comfortable shade of an umbrella.  

‘Hey, Tess.  Lovely day, isn’t it ?’, he began, making common chatter.   

‘Certainly is.   What’s going on ?   Normally I have my buds Beverly and Chloe join me but they’re off chatting with the other gals, it appears.’, Tess observed, obviously.    Bev and Chloe were making googly eyes and immature faces at her, teasing her relentlessly.   She responded with an equally sophomoric raspberry.   

An errant lock of hair got into Tess’s eyes.  Without thinking, Larry tucked it behind her ear and felt a spark travel between them.  Both of them blushed.  

‘I was thinking of promoting you.   I don’t want the others to think I am doing this purely because I like you but because you deserve it.’, Larry complimented.   Tess turned darker red and noticed that Larry was grasping her hand tenderly.    

‘People are going to talk.  They’ll spread rumors.’, Tess said, unknowingly squeezing his hand in return.  

‘Let them.  I am going to promote you.’, Larry started, making his decision final.  Tomorrow, she would be working closer to him and Larry would be one step closer to asking his crush out on a date.  

Chapter 3--Upward Mobility

The next day, Tess became acclimated quickly to her new position.  Larry asked her if she wanted to head to dinner that night, just the two of them.

‘Is this a date ?’, Tess queried, knowingly.

‘Yes.  I want to get to know you better.  So far we seem to be getting along tremendously.’, Larry said, placing his hand on Tess’s shoulder.  Normally, this would’ve caused an outrage with the other employees, but they knew the relationship between Larry and Tess was purely professional.   

Later on that evening the two went to a quaint but charming 50’s themed burger joint.   Larry ordered a milkshake for two and the duet savored it before their main course.   They talked, laughed, joked and enjoyed every minute of their lives.   The two felt they could be authentic with one another and Larry sensed he had known Tess the entirety of his life.  At the end of the evening, he pulled her close and drew her in for a kiss.  She melted completely into his sensual lips.   

In the car, the new lovers began to make out heavily and pet wildly.    Tess began to feel wet, her vagina tingling, longing for some sort of action.    

‘Do you want me to stop ?’, Larry asked, thinking that they were moving too fast.

Chapter 4--Subtle Lovemaking

Day in and day out, the couple began to see each other more and more.   There came a time when the two would make love in Larry’s office.   It was a Friday before the weekend and the lovers would be alone.  

‘I know we shouldn’t do this, but I couldn’t stop thinking about you.  I brought protection just to be safe.’, Larry said, thinking beyond himself.    Knowing that no one else would be around until much later to clean Maybe’s from top to bottom, the two sequestered themselves to the office to be alone together.

Larry had set the mood with scented candles and classic jazz playing in the background.  

‘No one else will hear us.’, Larry said.   The whole atmosphere only excited Tess more, seeing their union went against company policy.   Everyone knew now that they were together but supported their congress, seeing how blissful they were together, even when they were working apart.   

Tess stripped saucily to the saxophone in the background and undid Larry’s tie.   He beckoned Tess to come to him, revealing her sexy body underneath that pinstripe blazer she often sported.    She undid his trousers and pulled his boxers down, revealing his throbbing pecker, glistening with some precum.

Epilogue
